Purpose of the Competition
The competition aims to:
- Develop stage culture and professional performance level
- Provide opportunities for participation in international projects, competitions and festivals
- Strengthen international cultural cooperation
- Promote artistic creativity and performance excellence
Age groups and time of performance:
- Group A: 7 to 10 years old – till 5 minutes ( one or two pieces)
- Group B: 11 to 13 years old – till 10 minutes (one or two pieces)
- Group C: 14 to 17 years old – 12 minutes ( one or two pieces)
- Group D: 18 years and older — up to 13 minutes (one piece or pieces of different character)
Repertoire requirements. Participants may choose one or two pieces from any of the following category:
- Classical repertoire (Baroque, Classical, Romantic or Contemporary periods).
- Folk/Traditional
- Modern composing
- Jazz/Blues
Nominations
- Solo
- Duet
- Ensemble
- Orchestra
Important:
Grand Prix winner of 2025 may not participate in 2026 in the same age category
Evaluation & Grading System
The grading system is open and transparent.
95–99 — Laureate I
90–94 — Laureate II
85–89 — Laureate III
80–84 — Diploma
75–79 — Participant
100 — Grand Prix Nominee
The decision to award the Grand Prix will be made on a point-by-point basis, in the event of a dispute, by the general decisions of the jury. If different contestants in the same nomination collect a similar number of points, the chairman of the jury has the right to vote again. The decision of the jury is correct and cannot be challenged.
Jury
The international jury consists of internationally recognized professional musicians and teachers, producers, composers, heads of creative teams and organizations, cultural and art figures.

Application deadline: 1 April 2026
Entry fee payment deadline: 10 April 2026
(Late applications will not be accepted.)

After 20 April, song changes are subject to a 20 € administrative fee.
Participation fees are non-refundable in case of withdrawal for personal reasons.

Additional Information
- The exact contest schedule will be available from the organizing committee 14 days before the competition starts.
- Participants must arrive at the competition accompanied by their parents or legal guardians. Parents or guardians are fully responsible for the participant’s behavior, safety, and well-being during the event.
- Participants are responsible for covering their own travel and accommodation expenses.
- The festival organizers reserve the right to photograph, film, record, store, and use photo and video materials taken during the competition.
- The competition will be broadcast live on the Tallinn Voice Facebook page and professionally recorded.
- The organizing committee reserves the right to close applications before the announced deadline if the maximum number of participants in certain categories is reached.
- By submitting an application, participants agree to the terms and conditions of the International Music Contest Tallinn Voice and confirm the accuracy of the information provided.e application, participants confirm acceptance of the competition rules.
The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the competition guide and rules.
